Vogtlandsee

The Vogtlandsee is a peatloch located in the forest between Gruenheide, Beerheide and Morgenröthe. The altitude is 671 m above sea level. Due to the presence of turf the incoming water is very acid which prevents fish from living in the loch. There are many walking paths in the area and easy access to the Vogtlandsee is possible from Gruenheide or Beerheide. Some Locals like to swim in Vogtlandsee.
